Community representatives were sensitised on crime prevention, GBV and child defilement prevention
From September to October 2020, the Ministry of Justice in collaboration with the European Union through its project “Support the Ministry of Justice to improve access to quality justice” organized, in 19 districts, community dialogue sessions with Ministry of Justice staff, Justice Sector district committees, different leaders in districts and community representatives.
In this activity, community representatives were sensitized on crime prevention, GBV and child defilement prevention. They were also informed about Ministerial Order relating to the electronic execution of enforcement orders.
The team also visited RIB stations, prisons, Isange One Stop Center and aired radio programs on various community radios.
These activities will continue in other districts.
